At 4 pm we caught John’s show the Dreamdealer, in which he plays the seller of dreams, with his most wicked, evil expression and a voice that thunders down the aisles. A character that we all got to know so well last year in the Martians Evil Face show!!

John Kielty – The Dreamdealer
John is steeped in darkness and is the leader of the world’s most evil band, the Martians. Throughout the festival they busk on the Royal Mile and by night they take tourists into the Covenanters Prison – a locked area at the rear of Greyfriars Kirkyard, which is also the most published site of paranormal activity in Scotland and home to a violent poltergeist.. which is great and sometimes hits people! If he could, John would steal all children’s’ dreams, as dreams are dangerous and promote growth. His favourite things are a dog called Jamie , Doctor Who and his girlfriend Liana, John and his tow brothers have recently won the highland Quest for a New musical with ‘Sundowe,’ to be performed next year at the Eden Court Theatre.

John said how busy he was - he had the busking, the show, and after was seeing some BBC people about the Sundowe. The Quest comp will be shown on TV at some point – FA for musicals! We were discussing how odd a story it is - David was the FA winner and now John wins FA for musicals!
